Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to the Reception website and your use of the Reception subscription service. Reception is operated by Argo Online Ltd. (Hebrew: ארגו אונליין), company number 205967649 ("we", "us", or "our").

By using the website or subscribing to Reception, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

1. The service

Reception helps solo professionals and small businesses respond when they miss a phone call. When call forwarding is enabled on your number, Reception can send an automated WhatsApp message from your number to callers you could not reach.

Features may include customized message text, separate business-hours and after-hours messages, multiple numbers on higher plans, and an excluded-numbers list. Exact features depend on your plan.

2. Eligibility and setup

  • You must be at least 18 years old and have authority to bind the business you represent.
  • Before you pay, we confirm that your phone number and country support the required call forwarding.
  • You are responsible for enabling and maintaining call forwarding with your mobile carrier.
  • Setup is performed by us after you choose a plan and provide the required details.

3. Plans and pricing

Current plans (USD):

  • Solo: $99 one-time setup fee (includes month 1), then $49 per month — 1 phone number
  • Multi-line: $149 one-time setup fee (includes month 1), then $89 per month — up to 3 phone numbers
  • Annual: $790 paid once — includes the first month plus 2 additional months (14 months of service); setup fee waived; 1 phone number

Prices are listed in US dollars unless we agree otherwise in writing. Taxes, duties, and carrier charges are your responsibility where applicable.

We may change prices for new subscriptions or renewals with reasonable notice. Price changes do not affect an active prepaid annual term until renewal.

4. Payment

Payment method and billing schedule are confirmed during onboarding. Unless stated otherwise, monthly plans renew automatically each billing period until cancelled.

If payment fails, we may suspend the service after notice and a reasonable opportunity to update your payment details.

5. Cancellation and refunds

  • Monthly plans: you may cancel at any time. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current paid billing period. We do not refund fees for a period that has already started.
  • Setup fees: one-time setup fees are non-refundable once setup work has begun.
  • Annual plan: the annual fee is non-refundable after the service has started, except where required by applicable law.

6. Acceptable use

You agree not to use Reception to:

  • send spam, unsolicited marketing, or deceptive messages
  • violate any law or third-party rights
  • transmit harmful, abusive, or illegal content
  • interfere with or abuse the service or related systems

You are solely responsible for the content of messages sent from your number, including compliance with WhatsApp's terms and applicable telecommunications rules.

7. Third-party services

Reception depends on services outside our control, including your mobile carrier, telephony infrastructure, and WhatsApp (operated by Meta). We are not affiliated with Meta or WhatsApp.

Carrier support for call forwarding varies by country and plan. WhatsApp delivery is not guaranteed for every caller. Outages or policy changes by third parties may affect the service.

Caller privacy. Reception sends automated replies only. We do not access your WhatsApp chat history or read conversations between you and your callers.

8. Intellectual property

Reception, our website, branding, and underlying technology are owned by Argo Online Ltd. or its licensors. You receive a limited, non-exclusive right to use the service for your business during an active subscription.

You retain ownership of your business content and custom message text. You grant us permission to use that content solely to provide the service.

9. Disclaimer

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE." TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE DISCLAIM ALL WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.

We do not guarantee that every missed call will trigger a message, that every message will be delivered, or that the service will be uninterrupted or error-free.

10. Limitation of liability

TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE ARE NOT LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR LOST PROFITS, LOST BUSINESS, OR LOST GOODWILL.

Our total liability for any claim arising from these Terms or the service is limited to the amount you paid us for Reception in the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim.

Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations; in those cases, our liability is limited to the maximum extent permitted by law.

11. Indemnity

You agree to indemnify and hold us harmless from claims, damages, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your use of the service, your message content, or your violation of these Terms.

12. Suspension and termination

We may suspend or terminate access if you breach these Terms, fail to pay, or if continued service creates legal or security risk. We will provide notice when reasonable.

Sections that by their nature should survive termination (including payment obligations, disclaimers, limitation of liability, and indemnity) will survive.

13. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will post the revised version on this page and update the "Last updated" date. Material changes may also be communicated by email. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance.

14. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Israel, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Exclusive jurisdiction lies with the competent courts in Tel Aviv, Israel.

If you access Reception from outside Israel, you agree that Israeli law and jurisdiction apply to the extent permitted by your local mandatory consumer protections.
